Dear Compaq Media Robot Utility Customer:

Thank you for your recent purchase of either Compaq Media Robot
Utility (MRU) software or a DIGITAL [TM] library or loader which
includes MRU software.
  
The kit you have just received includes a CD-ROM that contains
MRU software, Version 1.4 for OpenVMS [TM] systems on VAX [TM] and
Alpha [TM], Digital UNIX (R) systems, and Microsoft (R) Windows
NT (R) systems on Alpha and Intel (R).

MRU software provides direct robotic control for the DIGITAL
family of DAT, DLT, TL8xx libraries, and the TKZ libraries and
loaders.  It includes a command line interface, a graphic user
interface, and an application programming interface.  
MRU software includes the following commands for operating media
loaders and libraries: Load, Unload, Inject, Eject, Show, Move,
Ready, Lock, Unlock, Find, Home, Initialize, and Help.

We have included the MRU Installation, Connectivity and Operation Guide, 
and Software Product Description in the kit.  

The MRU Installation, Connectivity and Operation Guide is designed
to be used by system professionals responsible for installations
running on the following operating systems:

- Digital UNIX
- OpenVMS or 
- Windows NT 

Just tear out the sections that don't pertain to your operating
system and throw them away.

MRU software is licensed to a single system.  Each license
purchased is for one system.  If you receive MRU software with a
library or loader, you are licensed to run it on a single system.
